It's a new year and new team takes over! In the true spirit of continuity, renewal and significance
Following the stalwart leadership of President Rose-Marie Gibbs, the Rotary Club of New Kingston (RCNK) is pleased to welcome the  President for the 2017-2018 Rotary year,  Dr William “Bill” Aiken, a Consultant Urologist and former Head of the Division of Urology at the University of the West Indies.

Rotary International's 2017-2018 President Ian H.S. Riseley selected as his presidential theme, “Rotary: Making a Difference”.  In the true spirit of service, the RCNK is devoted to helping the underserved through health and other social interventions.  This year the Club will focus on advocating for the introduction of Renal Transplantation as its major project, enhanced visibility by way of service to the New Kingston community, as well as membership engagement and retention. Under the leadership of Rotarian Bill, the RCNK expects to make a difference in the service extended to the wider community.

This intent relates perfectly to the ideal set out in District 7020 Theme which states, “Grow stronger; Serve better”. As we strengthen our outreach and engagement activities among our members we will deepen our activities throughout the wider community as it pertains to Renal Health and related matters.

The RCNK’s 2017-2018 President, William “Bill” Aiken firmly believes we ought to engage rotary through its essence, “having fellowship and fun while making a positive difference in the lives of others”.

We therefore invite you to fellowship with us over breakfast and enjoy an uplifting time together on a Friday morning at 8am at the Altamont Court Hotel.

The RCNK pledges to grow stronger, serve better, and make a difference!
